[Please Read] Fraudulent myhosting.com Notices

by crm on April 19,2014 10:52 am

Dear Customers,

There has been complaints that emails are being sent out as though they are coming from myhosting.com.  The message advises that your domain has gone above the resources available for your plan and redirects you to sign into a fake myhosting.com control panel (see sample message below).

The message is fraudulent and not from us.

We have reached out to the hosting provider of this fraudulent account and are awaiting their cooperation to shut them down.

In the meantime please do not open this email or use the links in it as we believe they are trying to get your account details.  If you have already done so we ask that you immediately change your account credentials as well as contact us via support@myhosting.com:

Classic Customers via support.myhosting.com:

1) My Account tab

2) Security Question and Update

3) Reset Password and Submit

onCloud Customers via manage.myhosting.com:

3) Change password and Save

Your security and privacy are our priorities.  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns via phone at 1-866-289-5091, support@myhosting.com or Live Chat.

Regards,

Your Customer Support Team

Yahoo Email Issue

by crm on April 15,2014 3:52 pm

Dear Microsoft Exchange Email Customers,

This notice is regarding a change from Yahoo that will limit your Microsoft Exchange Email service, should a Yahoo email account be sent up as an alternative email. The following change was made on April 8th 2014:

https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN24016.html?impressions=true

This limits the sending ‘to’ and ‘from’ a yahoo email account, a change that myhosting.com did not foresee.

To remove this feature and continue utilizing our full Exchange services, please log into your control panel select the ‘Primary From Address’ OR ‘Alternate Email Address’ > Edit> Remove.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach our Technical Support at support@myhosting.com.
